The Cottage boasts two pool tables a dart board, a TV room, a Braai area and is a place to relax and enjoy the company of friends. Pennington offers a perfect holiday destination to soak up the sun rays or visit the many attractions in the area. Sezela Sugar Mill, Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve and Crocworld are all within 10 minutes from the resort. Aliwal shoal boasts one of the top dive spots in the world and dive charters launch from Rocky bay and Umkomaas daily.
For the more energetic, other sporting facilities includes Tennis, Squash and bowls, all of which are only six kilometers away.
The Umdoni and Selbourne golf courses are not more than 5 km away. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the resort with abundant rock pools, a tidal pool offering safe bathing and a kiosk selling snacks and drinks. There are excellent fishing and mussel spots to be found along the beach at low tide.
